HW Interns
Welcome to the Heartwood Chapter Interns Group
The mission here is to offer help and encouragement with your goal to complete the initial TMN Program new volunteer studies.
Talk to your group members and group manager. Discuss any problems; offer solutions; make suggestions; plan carpools.
Your goal to become a Certified Texas Master Naturalist has two objectives at this point.
(1) Attend each classroom and field study scheduled for your group. If it is unavoidable to miss a session, let your Group Manager know.
(2) Begin to record and track the hours you donate towards the Chapter approved activities.
- 40 hours volunteer service
- 8 hours advanced training -lectures, workshops, guest speaker at Chapter Meeting
- You have 15 months from your first TMN study session to complete the Certification hours. Relax and enjoy your volunteer experience.
