Someone once told me that "volunteers are people with nothing else to do." Obviously, this person had never met our volunteers. We have families, jobs, friends, multiple hobbies, homes; and, yet, we volunteer. The reasons are many; the time is often crunched and stretched beyond our clocks and calendars.
I would like every one of our volunteers to read this series of articles about Burn Out. The more you know, the less likely you are to experience it.
