October is Monarch Migration time for the Houston area.   This is one of the championship sport events of nature.

Be looking now for Monarchs in your area.

This is an approved TMN volunteer citizen scientist project, so you can count this as volunteer hours.

You can report your sightings to Journey North.

The data we can collect for Houston and surrounding areas will be very valuable data.

Entering in data to Journey North is very easy.  You can also go to Journey north to see the map of what has been reported.   Very cool information.
