HEARTWOOD CHAPTER

This group is for Heartwood Chapter members interested in helping set up a series of workshops for 2012-13 at the W.G. Jones State Forest based on philosophical regional issues and training needs.  Work closely with natural resource professionals and educators in the development.

• NatureLIVE – community day event presented by Texas Forest Service to coordinate with National Pollinator Week designed to move people to action
• Interpretation of natural resources
• Rx to Nature - train the trainer
• PLT educator workshop (scheduled at Camp Allen)
• Climate Clinic
• Evaluating program effectiveness, curriculum alignment, scope and sequence
• Texas Tree Tenders course – 10 hours advance training for TMN, TMG
• When nature knocks on your door and it’s locked
• Taking a liking to lichens
