John Warner, Urban Forester at the W.G. Jones State Forest, has pulled through for our Chapter once again. He has installed a phone line for us. The new number is 936-273-2261 Ext 401.
It is a voice message line. Volunteers will be needed to retrieve and respond or pass on the messages to the project leaders. If you live in the area of the forest, contact our President Don Schwarzkopf (president@heartwoodtmn.org) and discuss a possible schedule with him.
Try to remember we are not a corporation. We are a group of great volunteers who like to be outdoors. Be patient. It might take a few days for a volunteer to get the message and respond to you.
