Texas Master Naturalist Chapters holding a spring training:
The Texas Master Naturalist program was presented with the opportunity
to have a page advertisement in the Texas Parks & wildlife Magazine. The ad,
we are told, will appear in the February issue of the Magazine which
will go out on the newsstands the last half of January.
If you are a chapter holding a spring training, please be aware of this
and be prepared to receive some time-sensitive phone calls regarding
your spring trainings with potential trainees who might want to get
involved as soon as they can.
We recognize that the timing of this February issue may not coincide
with some of your trainings given that a few of you are starting as
early as January. However, this was the option we were given for this
free opportunity to promote the Texas Master Naturalist program.
Other print media that is planned in the next couple of weeks include:
- an announcement of chapters holding sprint trainings in the
Department's Wetlands News Newsletter to go out any day now.
- a statewide news release through TPWD that will go out right after
the Thanksgiving holiday.
