Hello Heartwood and Happy New Year!
This is Trisha Bicknell, Head of the Host Commitee, formally known as the Refreshment Commitee. I need Refreshment/Host volunteers for all chapter meetings in 2010. I need two volunteers for each month (excluding December) and that also includes Januarys meeting this Wednesday. The duty of the volunteer is to bring food items of your choice. The chapter provides basic plasticware, plates and water. Out side of those things you can get as creative or as uncreative as you wish. In addition to bringing refreshments you will also serve as the host of the meeting, greeting and welcoming our guests and members as they come in for the meeting.
Please email or call to let me know which month you wish to volunteer for. After I get your email/call I will confirm with you if the month slot of your choice is still available. In additon, I will also send out a reminder to volunteers a few days before each meeting. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me.
