Here are some interesting statistics about our membership counts and awards program.

The Heartwood Chapter began in 2005 and our membership increases every single year. The nature sites in our region all benefit from this group of interesting people who give their time to their community.

Our members fall into groups based on where they are in their progress.
  • Interns enrolled in the New Volunteer Training sessions
  • Interns Level 2 who have completed their New Volunteer studies and are working towards their first year Certification commitment
  • our Certified Texas Master Naturalists who renew their commitment each year
