Texas Master Naturalist Award Pins

Each year, our members renew their Certification commitment to the Texas State Master Naturalist Program by paying their annual Chapter dues and agreeing to donate a minimum of 40 hours of their time per year in volunteer service on nature projects, plus 8 hours of their time per year on attending lectures and workshops to learn more about the natural world in our eco-region. A new award pin is created each year for the members who complete this commitment.

The awards pins you see at the bottom rows are Milestone Pins. The Milestone Pin is in honor of the volunteer's lifetime of service to the Texas Master Naturalist Program. Volunteer Service Hours are accrued from the very first year and a pin is awarded as the member reaches each milestone: 250 hours, 500 hours, 1,000 hours, 2,500 hours, 5,000 hours.
